Youth Villages uses an evidence-based approach to move children out of costly, often harmful residential institutions and foster care placements, safely back into their homes with their families. Youth Villages repairs families involved with child welfare and juvenile justice by working with families to repair relationships and address individual and family issues hampering a supportive and healthy family environment. Having served over 17,000 cases nationally, Youth Villages has consistently delivered outstanding outcomes: two years post service, 80% of the children Youth Villages serves are still at home, succeeding in school, and remaining out of legal trouble. Youth Villages delivers these unprecedented outcomes at a fraction of the cost of residential placements, saving states and the federal government money while delivering better outcomes for families.
